My dad has got an Acadia since last December, it's all great except for just one thing

The emergency brakes set automatically, how to stop this, guys?

Check your settings in the infotainment or manual, there's mostly likely a way to tweak or turn it off, I haven't bothered checking on mine before

That sounds annoying for sure. But I'm glad you're liking it. Check if the auto hold or electronic parking brake feature is enabled. That's usually what causes it. If it's acting up, sometimes a dealer reset or software update can fix it. Good luck!

Go into the vehicle settings on the infotainment screen, should be under something like Vehicle > Brakes > Auto Park Brake., toggle it off there.
If you don't see the option, it might only disable temporarily when you manually release it before shifting
