So I recently replaced the original battery on my 2017 Acadia Denali and now the rear hatch doesn't open or close using the key fob. Anyone else encountered this issue after a battery change? Such a hassle. jeez.

After replacing the battery, the power liftgate often needs a simple reset or recalibration. It's a common post battery swap issue. have you tried the manual cycler reset to fix it?

Try doing a full reset by disconnecting the battery again for a few minutes, then reconnect and cycle the hatch manually. Sometimes it just needs to relearn its position. Get it? A quick recalibration could go a looong way.

Right. Or, have you tried using the physical key or the interior button to see if the hatch responds?
