tri-zone climate control issue

When I remote start my 2024 Acadia, the custom tri-zone climate control doesn't get activated until I press the start button. Shouldn't it just run on the same settings as the last time we used our vehicle? I noticed this issue only happens when I use the key fob. Anyone got ideas or had a similar problem?

Yeah, that's actually pretty common, remote start usually defaults to factory climate settings for safety. You might be able to change that in your vehicle settings under Remote Start Preferences.

This behavior (only activating fully when you press the button) is usually bcs a specific setting, or how GM's remote start logic handles "comfort" versus "engine warm up." you need to check the infotainment system

Yeah, that's a weird one but kinda common with remote start on some GM models. The climate control usually kicks in fully only after you hit the actual start button inside. I don't know... it might be a software thing, but no harm in asking the dealer if there's an update or setting you can explore for it.
